They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?” Luke 24:32
The mission of the Emmaus Scripture School by An Tobar Nua is to open up the Scriptures as Jesus did on the road to Emmaus, within a friendly, ecumenical setting. We welcome Christians from all traditions, gathering around what unites us: the life-giving Word of God and our shared faith in Jesus Christ. We do not focus on denominational theology or doctrine. Our objective is to help students build a solid foundation in biblical knowledge, understand its historical-cultural context, and learn sound methods of interpreting the sacred text. Our hope is that the Scriptures come alive in the daily lives of our students.
Whether you are new to the Bible or have studied it for years, you are invited to join us for any of our class offerings.
